The middle years in a child’s life are a time for growth, challenge and discovery. At Sir Syed Memorial High School, we encourage and prepare students to participate fully, to take risks, to be self-sufficient, and create lasting bonds with their peers and members of staff. I am proud to be connected to this lineage of a nurturing extended family called “Sir Syed Educational Society”.

Indeed, it requires a special effort that can turn learning into a life-long journey of enquiry and discovering, resulting in knowledge that forms the foundation for growth and development. In the era of knowledge and skill-based competition, the future of our nation will depend on how best we can hone our intellectual capital and raise the bar of what must be achieved. Yet, our institutions must simultaneously become a place where a child is nurtured intellectually, psychologically and spiritually and is helped to unfold her or his capabilities, both internal and that which is found outside and is helped to discover the real interest, passion and ultimately the purpose of life. Sir Syed Memorial High School has been committed to this pursuit of knowledge in service of the community it is rooted within.
